Forty Six and its talented culinary staff have created and are committed to a "culture of healthful food choices." Named for the number of chromosomes in the human body, the science theme is carried throughout.  Forty six is handsome in a contemporary way, with weathered brick walls and light hardwoods.  A grid of bare-filament light bulbs suspended from the ceiling in XX, the main dining room, is warmed by a great view into the open kitchen.
